Mr. Hartley is a BV-rated attorney with more than 10 years of legal experience with a focus on real estate matters.  He attended Indian River High School in Chesapeake, Virginia and graduated from the College of William and Mary with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. After teaching high school for a year, he attended Regent University School of Law while working part-time as a real estate professional.  Many of the contacts he made selling residential real estate are now his clients.

After graduating in the top of his class at Regent University, Mr. Hartley joined Kevin L. Hubbard in Chesapeake to begin his practice.  Two years later, the firm of Hubbard & Hartley, PC was born and the new partnership experienced double digit growth for 5 years. Mr. Hartley managed the firm from annual revenues of approximately $200,000 to over $1.1 million per year. While managing Hubbard & Hartley, PC, Mr. Hartley began real estate investing and developing property in Hampton Roads amongst the formation of joint ventures and other businesses that continue to operate in Hampton Roads.

Mr. Hartley is a frequent lecturer regarding real estate matters such as investing, exit strategies and real estate structures.  A Chesapeake native son, Mr. Hartley looks forward to building The Hartley Law Group, PC in Chesapeake, Virginia to be the premier firm for real estate professionals and their customers.
